INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
STEP 1. DEGREASER Leather.
Apply to the entire steering wheel using a clean, soft white cloth slightly dampened with degreaser (apply several times if necessary). This process is very important to remove any residue of grease or sweat from your hands so that the dye adheres optimally.
STEP 1.2 Sponge-sandpaper. Gently sand the leather of the steering wheel. It is VERY IMPORTANT to sand the entire steering wheel perfectly to open the pores of the leather and allow the dye to penetrate. Once the steering wheel is sanded, thoroughly remove the dust produced by the sponge-sandpaper. It is recommended to apply the Degreaser again.
STEP 2. Repairing Dye Leather.
The repair dye should be used after cleaning and preparing the leather, once it is perfectly degreased. Before applying the dye, protect the areas that we do not want to dye. The dye is applied when the leather is well dried, half an hour to 1 hour after cleaning. After shaking the product to mix the pigment well, it should be applied with a sponge to the affected areas (with color loss) and a first thin layer should be applied over the surface with circular movements and always from seam to seam.
To speed up the drying process, you can use a hairdryer, not too hot, just to assist with drying. It is preferable to apply several layers rather than one very thick one. If any part is very discolored and needs more dye, apply several coats only to that area, and then blend it with the rest of the piece.
For a better finish on very worn steering wheels, after each coat of dye, you can sand the area again to smooth out the leather and give it a like-new appearance. Once sanded, reapply the dye. This can be done several times until you achieve a perfect finish. Keep in mind that the dye needs to be completely dry before sanding.
STEP 3. SEALANT. Special Fixative.
Once the repair dye is completely dry (at least 2 hours after it has dried), apply the protector with a clean, lint-free cloth and allow the leather to absorb it. It should not be applied as if the cloth were a brush, as this will leave streaks when it dries. The application should be done gradually without excessive movement or dragging on the steering wheel, leaving it damp and allowing it to air dry. It can be applied twice on the steering wheel.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why has the steering wheel become sticky?
It can be for several reasons:
- The steering wheel is not 100% leather; you must ensure that synthetic or imitation leather is not suitable for this product.
- It has not been sanded enough in step 1.2, so the pore has remained closed and the product has not been able to penetrate.
- The steering wheel is very old and has already passed its useful life.
Is it suitable for synthetic or fabric flyers?
No, it only works for 100% natural leather flyers.
In which state of the steering wheel can I apply the product?
It can be used both in initial stages of wear or discoloration, as well as in advanced stages of complete restoration.
